a hotcakes kind of change begins with a decision. Our mission statement is clear that we are to serve communities through the illustrations of caring hearts and the actions of those who can “should” and those who care '“do”.

By being a community, everyone can’t struggle at the same time, and someone has to be in a position to help and serve others.

Our Call for Hotcakes Volunteers are needed in the following areas:

Hotcakes closet

hotcakes closet seeks volunteers to assist with the following task:

  • pick up clothing donations

  • sorting

  • updating inventory

  • separating clothing based on men, women, children and sizes

  • hang up clothing items on labeled racks in closet

  • shop clearance sections to add to hotcakes closet $5 and under items/deals

employment assistance

the hotcakes team assist individuals with updating their resume’, job searches, and mock interviews and hotcakes could use assistance in compiling a list of open jobs in all sectors including in person and remote work.

Grocery services

the hotcakes team shops in store or through a grocery store app to arrange a drop off, delivery, or pickup of items and volunteers are needed to assist with these services

community outreach

our volunteers could assist in spreading a little “syrup” & “butter” by sharing social media post, events, services. distributing fliers and volunteering at events.
